Mindful Futures - spring equinox 2011

Workshops are designed to be participatory and interactive. There is a mix of informational presentations, hands-on exploratory activities, small-group discussions, and whole group plenary sessions. Modules will cover basic foresight skills, including analysis of trends and megatrends, emerging issues, exploration of values and deep underlying myths, scenario building, visioning, and strategic action. The sessions are designed to reach a range of learning styles, integration of mind and body through optional yoga sessions, spa availability, hot springs (Ridgway), nature experiences (hikes, biking, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing—depending on the season) and inclusion of planetary, Gaian and cosmological perspectives.

Meals
Monday evening, wine, cheese, and dessert will be served in the Kiva lodge. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, light breakfast and coffee will be served in the resort lobby. A catered lunch will be provided on Tuesday and a box lunch will be available “to go” on Wednesday. All dinners are “on your own.”
Workshop registration is $400 for an individual and $200 for additional registrations (couples, friends, family, business associates). Contact us for additional group discounts. Accommodations are the responsibility of participants. Please book your lodging directly through the Chipeta Sun Lodge and Spa. You are not required to stay at the Chipeta Sun Lodge and Spa, but a critical mass of reserved rooms could result in a discount upon checkout (if we book more than 10 rooms).
